Wilderness Medicine Courses

When 911 is not an option, the rules change. If it's your responsibility to recognize, prevent, and treat wilderness medicine emergencies, you need to be ready.

The Wilderness Medicine Institute  (WMI) is the leader in wilderness medicine education. WMI's dynamic curriculum is accurate, practical, and relevant. It is supported by internationally recognized wilderness medicine protocols and implemented by a full-time Curriculum Director.

WMI instructors are the best of the best. They are experts in wilderness medicine education with extensive experience in backcountry travel and patient care. These engaging educators come to WMI with a lifetime of experience as professional outdoor educators.

WMI courses are provided through Landmark Learning , the learning specialists for the outdoor community and an accredited Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET).
