Favorite Outdoor Activities: Rock climbing, slacklining, trail running and backpacking

Favorite Memory at Outdoor Programs: My favorite OP memory was facilitating a rappell in the pouring rain at Attic Window, Table Rock.  The crew was psyched and my boots were filled with water.

Why I love Appalachian: I love App State because it has provided me with a community of lifelong friends that are always psyched on adventure.  Whether I'm climbing classics at Ship Rock, route finding in Linville Gorge, or slacklining engulfed by the beautiful mountains, there is always psych and optimism from the many friends I have formed.  The rock in the high country is rad and I couldn't ask for a better base camp.

Why I love Appalachian: I love ASU because it is such a community. The students and faculty together facilitate such a welcoming and growth-inducing environment, it's hard not to love this place.  It also doesn't hurt that we have such a great backyard to go and adventure in!
